Academic Council

Academic Council reviews and acts on all relevant academic matters and provides advice and counseling to the Provost. Academic policies approved by Academic Council are be subject to the approval of the President and/or the President’s Cabinet. The Academic Council is chaired by the Provost/Vice President for Academic Affairs, who is responsible for setting the meeting agenda.

Academic Council representation is determined by the Provost/Vice President for Academic Affairs. Current representatives include: all Academic Deans, Registrar, Executive Director of the Student Success Center, Faculty Senate President, and Chief Information Officer.
